A 6-week journey for couples to nurture their relationship through simple meditative and connecting practices inspired by tango
Hi, I’m Mitra
I've helped thousands of couples develop a shared movement practiceÂ
I met my husband sixteen years ago at a contact improvisation jam. Movement has always been part of how connect and learn about each other and critical to the health of our relationship.Â
As the founder of the first Argentine Tango school in Los Angeles, Oxygen Tango, I've seen thousands of couples discover joyful connection through learning the basic principles of this mysterious and intriguing dance.
Over the past twenty years I've developed the Love Takes Practice approach to help couples experience a stress-free, loving connection with one another through building intentional rituals with tango-inspired movements, nonviolent communication, and appreciation.Â

"Love Takes Practice has introduced a much welcomed ritual in our lives, one that lets aside all the daily busy activities and creates time for us as a couple.
Throughout the program we practiced being patient, understanding each other’s needs and making steps toward supporting each other when faced with everyday challenges.
One of the most important things I got from this experience is realising that working for achieving a goal requires practice, even when that goal is Love.
This program can make a real change in the life of a couple and for us it certainly contributed significantly to the way we connect one with the other, like partners on a dance floor." - Irina
